Spike, FME Extend Partnership

LONDON, November 11: An
extension of an existing partnership sees FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME)
helping to finance and market four of Spike TV's original series worldwide.

The multi-million-dollar
investment deal grants FME international distribution rights to the recently
announced Spike TV original series Jesse
James is a Dead Man
, Deadliest
Warrior
and Surviving Disaster (working
title), along with season two of DEA.
All four projects will debut on Spike TV in 2009.

Jesse James is a Dead Man will follow Jesse James as he readies himself for a
different death-defying stunt in each episode. Deadlist Warrior tells action-packed historical narrative stories
about pitting two of the most feared warriors against one another. Surviving Disaster looks at how people
can arm themselves with knowledge that could save their lives in the event of a
disaster, while the second season of DEA will
once again look inside the inner workings of a group of special agents and task
force officers.

MTV
Networks Entertainment Group and FME have previously worked together on
distributing titles, including season one of Spike’s original series DEA and Murder. FME also launched Comedy Central's Reality Bites Back at MIPCOM in October.

"We
view these new series as long-term franchises and FME's tremendous leverage and
scope will maximize their revenue potential," said Eddie Dalva, the senior
VP of content for MTV Networks Entertainment Group.

"We
couldn't be more pleased with the tremendous success we've shared thus far in
distributing Spike TV programming worldwide, and are confident these new series
will perform just as strong in the international marketplace," commented David Ellender, the CEO of FME.
