Sparks Adds Three New Members

STOCKHOLM/MONTREAL/ROME/KIEV: Canada’s Trio Orange, Italy’s Amygdala and Ukraine’s Film.UA are the latest additions to Sparks Network’s member companies.

From Canada, Trio Orange specializes in content for TV, Internet, film and print. The company is a division of Urbacom, which is also home to the brands Voir, Hour, Ottawa XPress, Bang Bang and Guide Restos Voir.

Amygdala of Italy had its footing in the events industry and has now made its way into TV production. The company recently recruited Gianni Orazi, who previously worked at the Fremantle company Grundy in Italy, where he produced a large number of hit television shows.

The Ukrainian TV and film producer Film.UA is focused on creative development and is also running one of the country’s major studio facilities.

Sparks’ members have a first-look deal internally and share resources and development.
