Spanish Sale for McLeod’s Daughters

SYDNEY: TV3 Catalunya has picked up 74 episodes of the hit series McLeod’s Daughters from Southern Star International.

The drama, shot entirely on location in South Australia, focuses on the lives of a group of women running a vast cattle property in the Australian bush. The show has been sold into more than 100 territories, including Italy (RAI), Germany (Vox), Sweden (Kanal 5), Belgium (VTM), Ireland (RTE), the Middle East (Universal Arts), Kenya (Kenya Broadcasting Corp) and pan-Asia (Australian Network).

Carles Blanch Bachs, the head of acquisitions at TV3 Catalunya, said: "We at TV3 are very excited to have acquired McLeod’s Daughters. The series is beautifully shot and acted and we look forward to bringing it to Catalan audiences."
