Southern Star Takes on Factual Jail Series

SYDNEY, October 2: Real
Prison Breaks, a series produced
by Endemol Southern Star that looks at real-life jail escapes, will be on offer
from Southern Star International for buyers in Cannes.

The series, commissioned
by ITV4 in the U.K. and Seven Network Australia, examines cases from across the
U.K., U.S., Australia and New Zealand of convicts who broke out of jail
confinement. Real Prison Breaks,
which is narrated by Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings, James Bond: Golden Eye), features exclusive interviews with escapees,
along with insight from professionals who have tracked them down and guarded
them.
