Southern Star Inks Licensing Deal with Cartoon Network Latin America

SYDNEY, October 10: Cartoon Network and Boomerang in Latin
America have acquired a slate of kids’ programming titles from Southern Star
International.

The programming package includes the animated titles The
Adventures of Bottle Top Bill, Faireez and Tracey McBean along with live-action series Blue Water
High, The Sleepover Club, Don’t Blame The Koalas, Snobs and
Sweat.

“Southern Star shows are a perfect fit with Boomerang Latin
America, offering our tween audience a great combination of laughs, excitement,
and life lessons they can relate to," said Cindy Kerr, the VP of
programming and acquisitions for Cartoon Network and Boomerang Latin America.
"We anticipate our viewers will enjoy seeing some of their favorite
personalities as we air the second seasons of Blue Water High and The Sleepover Club, and will also embrace the fresh new faces on series
like Tracey McBean and Don’t
