Sony Music, Nick Ink Deal

NEW YORK, June 15: Nickelodeon, Sony Music Label Group and
Sony BMG Commercial Music Group are set to co-develop, co-produce and
co-finance a slate of television and music projects over the next four years.

The deal will cover the development and production of series
and original movies for Nickelodeon, as well as the release of multiple albums.
There is also the potential to roll out other ancillary products. The first
project to come out of the partnership will be the fall release of the original
music soundtrack from the hit tween series The Naked Brothers Band.

Nickelodeon and Sony first partnered in 2004 to further
expand Nick Records and the network’s presence in the music business, and
create a music brand for kids and tweens. The companies have worked together on
previous albums including Dora the Explorer,
Dora Dance Fiesta, Backyardigans, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Yellow Album.

Judy McGrath, the chairman and CEO of MTV Networks,
commented: “Music is in our company's genetic code, and it’s so great to have
it more deeply infused into Nickelodeon through this terrific brand extension
and partnership with Sony. There’ll be some great new talent and content coming
out of this deal, and we’re all excited about the TV and music we’ll create for
the fans of Nick around the globe.”
