LONDON: Sky Vision has inked an exclusive three-script development deal with the production company Merman, which has a current roster that includes the Sarah Jessica Parker HBO series Divorce.

Sky Vision will have first-look access to a selection of scripted projects from the Merman catalogue, with the option to exclusively distribute those projects internationally. Merman, founded by Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford, also has on its slate Catastrophe, which it co-produces with Avalon and Birdbath Productions.

Kylie Munnich, Sky Vision’s director of drama and comedy, said: “With hit shows on both sides of the Atlantic, Merman is a creative force to be reckoned with. Its high-quality scripts attract some of the industry’s leading names and we’re excited to be working with them on future projects.”

Clelia Mountford, the managing director of Merman, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Sky Vision—they offer a vast amount of international knowledge and we have no doubt the scripts we collaborate on will benefit hugely from Sky Vision’s distribution expertise and backing.”
