Showcase Bags International Rights to Hip Hop Harry

WOODLAND HILLS, September
14: Showcase Entertainment has acquired the international rights to the
live-action preschool property Hip Hop Harry, which currently airs in the U.S. on Discovery
Kids and The Learning Channel.

The 26-episode series is
produced by Los Angeles-based C to the B Productions and uses music and dancing
to educate and entertain its preschool audience. Hip Hop Harry is the second series represented by Showcase
Entertainment that airs on Discovery Kids. The first, Flight 29 Down, a live-action adventure series co-starring Corbin
Bleu (High School Musical 2),
has been licensed to more than a 100 countries worldwide.

“We couldn’t be more
excited to bring Hip Hop Harry to
MIP Jr. and MIPCOM,” said Scott Bedno, the director of international sales at
Showcase. “It’s fun, it’s entertaining and I guarantee parents will be singing
along with the kids; I know I did!”
