Sherman Promoted to Executive VP, GM at Logo

NEW YORK, February 5:
Logo, an MTV Networks channel that targets lesbian, gay, bisexual and
transgender viewers, has promoted Lisa Sherman to executive VP and general
manager.

Sherman, senior VP and
general manager for more than two years, was a key figure in the launch of
Logo, as well as in the creation and implementation of an aggressive business
plan that has built the ad-supported, multi-platform entertainment brand for
the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) audience. She will continue
to oversee its day-to-day operations.

“Lisa is that rare
individual who, as a leader, shows everyone what is possible, balancing Logo’s
daring vision with the hard management sense required to achieve lift-off,”
said Brian Graden, the president of MTV Networks Music Group Entertainment and
the president of Logo. “Thanks to her inspiration, LGBT people now have a
television home to call their own.”

“Lisa’s energy and passion
not only has helped build the Logo brand but made it a destination for the LGBT
audience to feel empowered, reflected and entertained by,” said Van Toffler,
the president of the MTV Networks Music and Logo Group. “I am glad she is a
part of our MTV Networks family and look forward to Lisa and her team
continuing to take Logo to new heights.”
