SevenOne International to Present More Than 50 New Shows at MIPTV

MUNICH, April 10: SevenOne
International will be offering over 50 new shows at MIPTV across a number of
genres from action to family entertainment, including the disaster movie
Raging Inferno, from Wiedemann and Berg,
the Oscar-winning production duo behind The Lives of Others.

SevenOne International’s MIPTV slate will include the two-part special event The Hunt for Troy, which tells the true story of the discovery of the
site of ancient Troy; Raging Inferno, which has already been sold to more than 20 countries prior to its
completion; the action series Special Unit, and Suddenly Gina, a remake of the BBC production The Girl in
the Café
that will support UNICEF. Other TV
movies will also be available at MIPTV, including romantic comedies such as Noblesse
Oblige
, produced by RheinFilm TV- und
Medienproduktions, and How to Catch a Millionaire, produced by Relevant Film; new films in the
successful Dream Hotels drama
franchise, produced by Lisa Film; and detective thrillers like Fight
for Justice,
produced by Cinemakers Film,
and The Evidence Within, produced
by Hofmann & Voges Entertainment.

New episodes of Galileo Extra and the science-tainment magazine show How It Works, produced by the U.K.-based Bullseye for National
Geographic Channel U.K., will also be available. The series includes segments
that explain scientific, technical and everyday phenomena in fun terms that can
be easily understood.

In the formats arena, SevenOne will bring the new studio-based
talent show The Successor, which aims to
find a new star “mentalist” to follow the footsteps of showman Uri Geller.
Produced by Uri Geller and Kuperman Productions for Keshet Broadcasting, the
show generated a season average share of 42 percent in Israel. Among the other
formats offered are: the family entertainment show Dreams do Come
True,
produced by Endemol Deutschland; the
dating show Love Bites, produced
by blue eyes Film & Television GmbH; and The Worst Day of My Life, produced by anaconda.tv.

In terms of TV series, SevenOne will also highlight Finding
Mr. Right,
produced by teamWorx, which
deals with the chaotic love life of a young newswoman named Clara Stern, and Vienna
Calling,
produced by Satel Film, about the
life and loves of four young people sharing a flat in the middle of Vienna.
