Sesame Street Attractions Planned for Dubai

DUBAI: Universal Studios Dubailand has signed an agreement with Sesame Workshop to develop and build three Sesame Street-themed entertainment venues for the first Universal Studios theme park in the Middle East.

The three Sesame Street attractions within the Park’s Surf City area will be anchored by Sesame Street 4-D Movie Magic, a multi-dimensional sensory experience exploring the magic of movie making featuring beloved Sesame Street characters Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert, Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, Grover and Prairie Dawn. Sesame Street 4-D Movie Magic will allow guests to not only see and hear the attraction, but also simultaneously be immersed in the feelings and smells of the action right from their own seats.

In addition to Sesame Street 4-D Movie Magic, a Sesame Street-themed carousel and live stage show will be features, along with Elmo’s Emporium, which will offer a selection of Sesame Street merchandise.

Universal Studios Dubailand is now under construction.
