Scripted, Films & Formats Among IM Global’s MIPCOM Fare

CANNES: IM Global is gearing up for MIPCOM, where it is presenting new films, scripted co-productions and unscripted formats to international buyers.

IM Global is offering several international scripted co-productions that are currently in various stages of development, including a legal drama from Image Nation. “We’ve doubled down on our scripted efforts since the Tang Media Partners investment and expect to significantly bolster our scripted offerings in the next 12 months,” said Eli Shibley, the president of international distribution and co-production at IM Global Television.

At MIPCOM, the company is also introducing a slate of international films to broadcasters and is offering territory-exclusive launches of new films for the first time. IM Global has added more than 100 titles to its film library since MIPTV.

IM Global is also presenting unscripted formats from IPC, Lighthearted Entertainment and Brian Graden Media. “We are representing a slate of high-end documentaries alongside several unscripted titles from around the world,” Shibley added. “The diversity of the slate is indicative of the increasingly cross-platform and cross-media nature of entertainment sales. We see the writing on the wall and the breadth of content offering has helped to forge meaningful business with buyers from all media around the world to maximize eyeballs and revenues for our partners.”
