LONDON: Sky has put $2 million into Caavo, an American consumer-electronics start-up venture.

Caavo was set up in 2015 by Andrew Einaudi, Ashish Aggarwal, Vinod Gopinath and Blake Krikorian (the late co-founder of Slingbox). It aims, according to a Sky press release, to “dramatically improve the in-home entertainment experience for consumers, by offering easy-to-use and beautifully designed products.” On its website, Caavo describes itself as “the missing link between your TV and you.”

The minority investment is part of Sky’s efforts to support “innovative, early-stage companies.”
