Ryan Upped at Foothill

SANTA
BARBARA, July 6: Patricia Ryan has been named executive VP of sales at
Foothill Entertainment after having spent a year as a consultant to the
company.

“We are thrilled to have Pat in this new role,” said
Foothill’s president, Jo Kavanagh-Payne. “Pat is very well liked and respected
throughout the world so having her in this new management role is a huge plus
for us, especially with our increasing catalogue.”

Prior to joining Foothill, Ryan was the president of
international sales at DIC Entertainment. She began her career at Filmation
Associates (a division of Group W/Westinghouse Broadcasting) where she spent 14
years, most recently as VP of international sales and administration.

At Foothill, Ryan will be working on the international
exploitation of new titles like Hip Hop Kidz and classics such as Collingwood O’Hare’s Animal Stories. “Our completed programming catalogue has grown
considerably in the past six months and it was becoming increasingly difficult
to cover the world ourselves as well as devote time to our development
projects,” said Gregory Payne, the chairman of Foothill. “With Pat’s extensive
contacts and experience, she continues to make a real difference in our
business.”

Founded in September 2000 by Gregory Payne, former executive
VP of business and legal affairs at DIC Entertainment, and Jo Kavanagh-Payne,
previously senior VP of U.S. operations at Link Television Entertainment,
Foothill specializes in the co-development and distribution of children’s and
family entertainment programming.
