Running in Heels Lands International Pickups

LOS ANGELES: The Style Network reality series Running in Heels has been sold into the U.K., the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Finland and Norway by Comcast International Media Group (CIMG).

The U.K.’s E4 licensed the series to air in August, with repeats slated for later in the year on Channel 4’s weekend youth strand T4. RTL in the Netherlands and Luxembourg, TV3 in Norway, Viasat 4 in Denmark and MTV Oy in Finland have also picked up the series, which launched in the U.S. in early March.

Running in Heels looks at the inner-workings of Marie Claire magazine and its staff, from the senior editorial team through to the three eager-to-impress interns. The series features six half-hour episodes and two one-hour episodes.

“Since its launch, Running in Heels has garnered praise from viewers of The Style Network, particularly of our U.S. and U.K. channels,” said Duccio Donati, the senior VP of CIMG. “The series definitely has high appeal among the desirable, young female demo. We’re delighted to offer television audiences throughout Europe and Scandinavia the chance to meet and enjoy the lives of the ambitious young women featured in our network’s latest hit.”
