RTVE Spotlights Love in Difficult Times

MADRID: Two of the stars of the hit RTVE series Love in Difficult Times, Manu Baqueiro (Marcelino) and Itziar Miranda (Manolita), will be on hand in Cannes to help celebrate the show’s six-year success.

Airing on La 1 in Spain, the series has had nearly 1,500 episodes, with improved results year after year. The fifth season of the show attracted the largest audiences in its history. Love in Difficult Times has led its time slot for more than three years. For 2011, the show is regularly nothing up an average 22-percent share.

Internationally, RTVE has teamed up with Endemol to bring the series and the format for buyers around the world.
