RTL Group Sees EBITA Top 1 Billion Euros

LUXEMBOURG: For fiscal 2010, RTL Group increased its EBITA by almost 40 percent to 1.1 billion euros, bolstered by an improved ad market across Western Europe.

The record earnings are well above the 10-percent increase forecast by analysts, RTL said.

RTL Group’s reported revenue for fiscal 2010 grew by 8.5 percent to 5.6 billion euros, the company said today, thanks to a bump in Western European ad revenues.

The company releases its audited 2010 results on March 10.
