Rossellini Shorts Available on Sundance Channel Website

NEW YORK, September 18:
Sundance Channel has secured the international rights for Isabella Rossellini’s
Green Porno short films, which
are now available to viewers outside the U.S. on the network’s website.

Additionally, the network
has syndicated two of the short films, Snail and Worm, on YouTube. As part of the initiative, the channel’s website will
launch a new interactive quiz, What Kind of Green Porno Star Are You?, allowing fans to uncover their
inner bug. The website will provide users with an updated photo gallery
featuring new pictures of behind-the-scenes production, including the making of
Bee and Firefly episodes.

The eight-part short film
series, which explores the sex life of insects and various creatures, had its
digital premiere in May and on mobile devices and its television debut on
Sundance Channel this past July. Some of the shorts were also screened at the
2008 Sundance Film Festival and the 2008 Berlin international Film Festival.
All eight premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival.

Christopher Barry, the
network’s senior VP of digital media and business strategy, said: “We are
delighted to be able to share these unique and irreverent shorts with an
international audience. The films have become a viral hit in the United States
and we are excited to launch the interactive quiz for Green Porno fans.”
