Rookie Blue Renewed for Season Three

TORONTO/LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One (eOne) and Thump Inc. have received a third-season order for 13 new episodes of the cop series Rookie Blue, which airs on ABC in the U.S., Global in Canada and Universal Networks International channels worldwide.

The cop show has been ranking number one among adults 18 to 49 on ABC this summer in its Thursday 10 p.m. time slot, with ratings gains on its season one rollout. For Global, the show has been the number one drama on Thursday nights in its second season.

The show follows five young and ambitious rookie cops as they navigate the trials and tribulations of their professional and personal lives. Shot in Toronto, the show’s cast includes Missy Peregrym, Gregory Smith, Charlotte Sullivan, Enuka Okuma and Travis Milne.
