Roku to Deliver WATCH Disney Channel Service

SARATOGA: The streaming platform Roku is slated to begin offering WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney Junior and WATCH Disney XD later this month.

The WATCH Disney Channel service features a number of hit original series, including Austin & Ally, Phineas and Ferb, Jessie, Good Luck Charlie, Dog with a Blog, Shake It Up, Gravity Falls and A.N.T. Farm. It will become available to Roku customers who have a video subscription with an affiliated provider. Current affiliated providers include Verizon FiOS TV, Comcast's Xfinity TV, Midcontinent Communications, Cablevision's Optimum TV, Cox, AT&T U-verse TV, Charter and Google Fiber.

In addition, Roku is now offering live programming, events and video through WatchESPN. Customers who receive ESPN's linear networks as part of an affiliated video subscription are able to watch ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3, ESPN Deportes and ESPNEWS on their Roku devices. They will also have access to ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Buzzer Beater when those channels are in season. Current affiliated providers include Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, Verizon FiOS TV, Xfinity TV, Midcontinent Communications, Optimum TV, Cox, AT&T U-verse TV, Charter and Google Fiber.

"At the same time, we are adding value to the multichannel video subscription through this agreement, which will also include fan-favorite shows and entertainment programming from WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney Junior and WATCH Disney XD later this month."
