RHI Offers Up On-Demand Premieres

NEW YORK, August 20: RHI Entertainment has announced plans
to premiere original, previously unaired movies in the action, thriller and
horror genres on cable operators’ VOD platforms, with deals already in place
with Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, Cablevision and Cox.

A total of 24 original world premiere movies are being
offered in the first year, with two new movies premiering each month. Cable TV
customers will be able to choose from six RHI titles at any given time. Titles
on offer will include Black Friday (Judd
Nelson), Maneater (Gary Busey), The
Sitter
(Gail O'Grady), Deadly
Suspicion
(Marilu Henner), Something
Beneath
(Kevin Sorbo) and Eye of
the Beast
(James Van Der Beek). All will be
offered for a fee.

RHI is also offering many of its award-winning classics on a
free on-demand basis, among them Alice in Wonderland, The Prince and the Pauper and Captains Courageous.

Following the exclusive world premiere VOD exhibition, cable
networks such as SCI FI, Spike TV and Lifetime will telecast the original
movies in their premiere broadcast/cable window. Genius Entertainment will
release the movies on home video.
