RHI Inks Canadian Deal

NEW YORK, May 2: French-Canadian broadcaster TQS has
acquired a raft of mini-series and TV movies from RHI Entertainment as part of
a three-year deal with the company.

The agreement covers new mini-series such as Marco Polo and Final Approach and the TV movies Jane Doe and Mystery Woman, among others. “The quality of [RHI’s] programs is a
key success factor for TQS,” said Louis Trepanier, the broadcaster’s VP of
programming. “The broadcasting of their programs in the past was always well
appreciated by our audience, and we have no doubt they will represent a real value
to our programming in the future.”
