RGM Establishes New Financing Facility

SINGAPORE, August 5: RGM
Entertainment, a talent management and executive-production firm headquartered
in Singapore, has set up a $400 million fund for English-language film and TV
projects for the international market.

The financing facility,
with debt provided by Oceana Media Finance, will fully fund up to $400 million
worth of projects over four years. RGM is currently financing Point Break 2, to be directed by Jan De Bont, with production
slated to begin in October. Previously produced projects from RGM Entertainment
include Winged Creatures
starring Forest Whitaker and Kate Beckinsale.

“This deal allows us to
get into higher budget projects and to work with significant producers in order
to source and develop material for the global market,” said Devesh Chetty, the
CEO of RGM Entertainment.
