Reveille Sold to Shine

LOS ANGELES, February 15: Ben Silverman, the co-chairman of
NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios, has concluded the sale of his
production company Reveille to Elisabeth Murdoch’s Shine Group for a reported
$125 million.

The move is part of Shine’s efforts to build its business
outside of the U.K., and eliminates conflict of interest concerns for Silverman
and NBC. The network airs a host of Reveille productions, including the hit American
Gladiators
.

Local reports indicate a purchase price of $125 million,
which could go as high as $200 million depending on the success of new Reveille
productions.
