Retirement Living TV Shores Up Licensing Deals for Original Series

COLUMBIA, October 18:
Retirement Living TV, the first network created for people aged 55 and over,
has reached licensing agreements for three original television series with
Ananey Communication’s Health Channel in Israel.

The deals include The
Daily Apple
, a magazine format
hosted by Retirement Living TV’s lifestyle gerontologist, Dr. Alexis Abramson,
which investigates the important wellness issues facing today’s senior
population; the 52×24-minute HEALTHLINE, hosted by former NBC Today
Show contributor Dr. Kevin J.
Soden; and the Telly Award-winning series The Art of Living, which follows people aged 55 and over who define
themselves as artists, community activists and athletes, each presenting their
unique story in a documentary-like, no-host format.

“An integral part of
Retirement Living TV’s mission is to inform our viewers and arm them with the
show content that can improve their quality of life,” said Elliot Jacobson, the
VP of programming for Retirement Living TV. “These agreements point to the
global resonance our original programming has in meeting the needs of the
vastly underserved 55+ viewer.”

The licensing deals for The
Daily Apple
and HEALTHLINE were brokered by Information Television Network,
and the agreement for The Art of Living was brokered by Canamedia.
