LORETO: The first 3-D stereoscopic film from Italy’s Rainbow SpA, based on the hit Winx Club series, will be launched to the worldwide theatrical market at the Cannes Film Festival.

Winx Club 3D Magical Adventure is the first 3-D stereoscopic film ever produced in Italy, and was completed entirely at Rainbow’s Rome-based CGI studio. It will then roll out across Europe, beginning in Russia and Turkey, two territories where where Winx Club has been particularly successful. In Russia, Nashe Kino holds the feature film, DVD, Blu-ray and TV rights. In Turkey, Tiglon and Filma will launch the Winx 3-D feature film and DVD. Further global deals are expected to be signed in Cannes.
