Raft of German Deals for AETN

NEW YORK/LONDON, November
18: AETN International has landed a slate of deals with broadcasters across
Germany, including RTL, which picked up seasons one and two of Ice Road Truckers.

Ice Road Truckers is the highest-rated series on History in the U.S.
and U.K. It follows a group of truckers as they haul equipment and supplies to
remote outposts in the farthest reaches of the Northwest territories.

RTL 2 took on season four
of Dog the Bounty Hunter as well as
the series Crime 360, which uses CGI
to illustrate real police investigations. Both series are from U.S. cable
channel A&E Network.

AETN also licensed Crude, four hours of Rome: The Rise and Fall of an Empire, Journey to 10,000 BC and The Egyptian Book of the Dead to ZDF
ARTE for Germany and France. All four series are from History in the U.S.

Tele 5 picked up a package
of episodes from the Biography series,
including profiles of celebrities such as Robin Williams, Samuel L. Jackson,
Brad Pitt and Sylvester Stallone.

"Germany continues to have a healthy appetite
and appreciation for factual programming, with numerous slots in broadcasters'
schedules also highlighting the demand for diverse content," said Jonathan

International. "We are obviously thrilled to announce these deals which
reinforce the value of having a varied catalogue to cater to all demands."
