Promotions Within Sesame Workshop Staff

NEW YORK: Sesame Workshop has promoted three executives within its worldwide distribution group: Scott Chambers, Mike Khouri and Jennifer Perry.

Chambers is to become senior VP of worldwide media distribution. He will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the digital, traditional and mobile media businesses for Sesame Workshop worldwide. This includes publishing, interactive, television, home video and audio.

Khouri takes on the role of VP of home video and audio distribution. He is now responsible for supervising all aspects of home video and audio businesses for the U.S. and abroad.

Perry is the new VP of publishing. The role sees her taking responsibility for the U.S. and international publishing business at Sesame Workshop, including the Sesame Workshop Publishing Archive.

Chambers will be reporting to Terry Fitzpatrick, the executive VP of distribution, while Khouri and Perry will be reporting to Chambers.

“Not only does Sesame Workshop house a rich library of assets that are being made available through new distribution channels, but we’re also continuing to produce new creative daily for a multitude of platforms including the digital arena,” said Fitzpatrick. “Scott, Mike and Jennifer each possess strong qualities in business development, strategic planning and licensee relationship management that are critical in growing the Sesame brand and ultimately extending the reach of our educational content around the world.”
