Profit Drops at EchoStar

ENGLEWOOD, November 7: For the third quarter, EchoStar’s
profit fell from $209 million to $140 million, despite a 16-percent increase in
revenues to $2.47 billion.

DISH Network added approximately 295,000 net new subscribers
during the third quarter of 2006, ending the quarter with approximately 12.755
million subscribers.
