Production Wraps on New Shaftesbury Film for CTV, Lifetime

TORONTO, July 6: Shaftesbury Films has completed filming the
made-for-TV movie Blithe and Virginia, set
to air on CTV in Canada and Lifetime in the U.S.

The TV movie stars Melinda Clarke (The O.C.) as the wild, free-spirited Blithe and Krista
Bridges (Niagara Motel) as her
conventional, demure sister Virginia. The estranged pair is forced to reunite
and embark on a surprising road trip together. Filming ran from June 11 until
June 26 in and around Lake Simcoe, Ontario. Blithe and Virginia is executive produced by Christina Jennings and
Scott Garvie for Shaftesbury Films (ReGenesis). Kelly Rowan (The. O.C.) and Graham Ludlow (In God’s Country) also serve as executive producers.
