Production Wraps on ACI, Oasis Mini-Series

VAN NUYS, August 28: Production has wrapped on The
Lost Treasure of Ugarit
,
co-produced by American Cinema International and Oasis Entertainment, that is
set to launch worldwide at the American Film Market in November.

The 3×90-minute mini-series, shot on location in
Turkey over the last three and a half months, stars Ivan Sergei (Break up, Jack and Jill) as a modern-day treasure hunter who
works to uncover the location of The Star of Ugarit, an ancient weapon. The
action-adventure series features an ensemble cast of international talent
including Canada’s Joanne Kelly (Vanished) and Alaina Huffman (Painkiller Jane), as well as German star Thure
Rufeinstein (Dark Blue World). The project was directed by Terry Cunningham, with American Cinema
International CEO George Shamieh serving as a producer alongside Osama Bastaki.

The Lost Treasure of Ugarit is 270 minutes of pure action,
adventure and suspense,” said Shamieh. “Viewers will be taken on a fabulous
journey that will leave them wanting more.”

Chevonne O’Shaughnessy, the president of American
Cinema International who will be overseeing the worldwide sales of the project,
added: “George and I are committed to our buyers and their programming needs.
We saw a void in the marketplace for a high-quality action-adventure such as The
Lost Treasure of Ugarit
and
we filled it. We are thrilled with the outcome and look forward to sharing it
with our buyers worldwide.”
