visual effects supervisor is Steve Hodgson, who will be working with visual
effects creators Keegen Douglas and Trevor Adams of Artifex Studios. Eric
Fraser serves as the production designer. Production partners on Impact include Golden Globe-nominated executive producer
Jonas Bauer (The Company,

“We recognized a need in
the worldwide marketplace for this kind of event/global catastrophe
mini-series,” said Tandem’s Jonas Bauer, who is also a partner in the company.
“Producing on a need is the best way to keep long forms thriving. Despite the
financing challenges in the market today, networks and video distributors
worldwide are eager for programming of this nature. Putting this kind of talent
together to create and distribute this kind of grand story-telling with broad
appeal is our core business.”
