PARIS: Prime Entertainment Group has renewed a package deal with Fox International Channels for the biography series Close Up, alongside further agreements with Ovation, HD NET, SBS and LAPTV.

Close Up features biographies of a roster of Hollywood stars, including Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise. Fox Poland, Fox Russia, and, most recently, Fox Benelux, are signed up for 52 episodes of the series.

The 52×26-minute Hollywood’s Best Film Directors is headed to Ovation in the U.S., while HD NET licensed the show for Canada. Australia’s SBS is also on board.

In a package deal with LAPTV of Latin America, 119 episodes of the series Zoom In are headed to the channel in HD. David Freydt, the managing director of Prime, said: "We want to provide the highest quality programming that goes hand in hand with strategic decision of many movie channels to switch to high definition."
