PorchLight Entertainment Exec Upped to VP of Worldwide Sales

LOS ANGELES, August 16: Jeffery Engelen has been promoted to
VP of worldwide sales for PorchLight Entertainment, taking on expanded
responsibilities to accelerate worldwide sales activities prior to MIPCOM.

Reporting to Ken DuBow, PorchLight’s president of worldwide
distribution, Engelen’s sales responsibilities have been expanded to include
key territories throughout Europe, Russia, Africa and the Middle East, where he
will concentrate on broadcast sales of PorchLight’s library of programming.
Kicking off his role, Engelen will target key broadcasters and distributors
throughout Germany.

Engelen has served as director of international licensing

During his time at PorchLight, Engelen has developed and managed the
international licensing agent’s network to sell and market the company’s
merchandising, video, wireless and promotional rights. He later took on the
additional responsibilities of selling and licensing PorchLight’s programming
in various broadcast and video formats.

In relation to Engelen’s promotion, Katherine Kaufman and JD
Beaufils, who both also serve as VP of worldwide sales for PorchLight, have
expanded their sales activities. Kaufman has added the U.K., Australia and New
Zealand to her broadcast sales roster, while Beaufils will now focus on all
rights distribution globally.
