Pinnacle Peak Pictures has launched Panoramic Pictures, a new mainstream theatrical division in Hong Kong.

Its first film is the horror comedy Dear Camp ‘86, which stars Noah LaLonde (My Life with the Walter Boys) and sees the hunters become the hunted during an annual deer hunt. Panoramic will sell worldwide rights to the film, with a U.S. release set for summer 2024.

Veteran film executive Ron Gell has been named Panoramic’s VP of international sales.

“Excited to take a brand new film to Hong Kong,” said Gell. “Perfect place to launch an exciting mainstream label. Panoramic Pictures will be a new label pushing the envelope from horror to sci-fi to comedy and drama. We all feel it’s the perfect time to launch a new label for an underserved market.”
