Pimp My Ride Producers Join IMG

NEW YORK/LONDON, July 31: Pimp
My Ride
’s producing partners Bruce
Beresford Redman and Rick Hurvitz have joined IMG Entertainment to develop and
produce non-scripted television shows, branded programming and other
multiplatform entertainment content.

Beresford Redman and
Hurvitz will report to Olivier Gers, IMG’s newly appointed senior VP, global
head of new media and co-head of IMG Entertainment; and London-based Alastair
Waddington, the executive VP of IMG Media and co-head of IMG Entertainment.

The Los Angeles-based duo
have an extensive track record producing prime-time broadcast and network
programming, including the creation of MTV’s Pimp My Ride, which has been broadcast in 108 countries
worldwide and spawned six originally produced international versions to date.

Beresford Redman’s other
credits include as executive producer or producer on shows such as Survivor and The Restaurant. Hurvitz was a producer on For Love or Money and Married by America, among others.

In making the
announcement, Gers said, “With a history of producing broadcast and network
