Phineas and Ferb Fan Club Show Gets Second Season

LONDON: Disney Channel U.K. is producing a second season of Oscar and Michael’s Phineas and Ferb Fan Club Show, which pays homage to the animated comedy Phineas and Ferb.

The first season launched in November 2008, while the second season will premiere on Disney Channel U.K. on April 10 at 10 a.m. The in-house production is based on the lead characters of Phineas and Ferb. The series will comprise of 12×3-minute episodes, each focusing on a new adventure.
 
Jonathan Boseley, the VP of programming for Disney Channels U.K. and Ireland, said: “Phineas and Ferb has a huge following in the U.K. and Oscar and Michael’s Phineas and Ferb Fan Club Show taps into this. Disney Channel is committed to investing in locally-produced shows that are relevant and connect with viewers. The show has already proved to be a big hit with kids and we’re hoping to build upon this success.”
