LONDON: Passion Distribution has secured an exclusive agreement with Sundance Channel to represent its nonfiction catalogue outside the U.S.

Passion will bring 77 hours of new Sundance Channel HD programming to MIPTV. Titles include All on the Line, featuring Joe Zee, creative director for ELLE magazine; Garo Unleashed, featuring fashion designer Garo Sparo; and Love/Lust, looking at innovative products from the worlds of fashion, tech, food, beauty and more. There’s also Quirky, spotlighting a unique technology company that supports hopeful inventors, as well as Ludo Bites America, with 5-star French chef Ludo Lefebvre. Rounding out the slate is Showbox Sessions, revealing mementos of a celebrity’s past to shed light on who they are today.

Sally Miles, the CEO of Passion Distribution, commented, “Sundance Channel’s creative programming minds have produced remarkable shows that will have broad international appeal. Now our buyers will have access to credible, compelling, entertaining and accessible programming in the themes of fashion, business and design that have a real voice, a voice that resonates powerfully with global audiences.”

Sarah Barnett, the general manager and executive VP of Sundance Channel, added, “Sundance Channel’s non-scripted programming speaks to an audience that is passionate about finding out what’s next in the arena of ideas and culture. Our new slate puts front and center creative personalities living life on their own terms. We’re looking forward to working with Passion Distribution to bring our programming to audiences around the world.”
