LONDON: Passion Distribution has secured distribution for a slate of new UKTV shows, including Dynamo: Magician Impossible, to be launched at MIPCOM.

New series featured include Dynamo: Magician Impossible, who performs his matrix style levitation in the series. He will be in Cannes at MIPCOM performing some of his tricks. The Ta and the Taliban is a doc series that follows 12 members of the territorial part-time army service, as they leave their families and day jobs and head to the war zone of Afghanistan.

The new slate also includes two new seasons of My Flat Pack Home seasons two and three, in which property presenter Amanda Lamb sees homeowners building their own home. The new series and format What the Neighbours Did is about being inspired by the homes next door.

Keith Porritt, the executive director of commercial at UKTV, said, “UKTV’s slate of commissions is breaking new ground and going from strength to strength in the U.K. We’re delighted to be working with a distributor of such repute as Passion to bring a selection of UKTV’s latest fabulous commissions to the international market.”

Sally Miles, the founder and CEO of Passion Distribution, commented, “We are genuinely delighted UKTV decided to work with us. The series are a great fit with our existing catalogue of programs and enable us to bring some great new shows to excite our buyers at MIPCOM. There are some real headlining titles which we will have a lot of fun with—the Dynamo series will create quite a stir and it is exciting to work with such amazing young talent on the rise.”
