Passion Lands Pre-MIPCOM Deals

LONDON: Passion Distribution has made a raft of sales in Australia for Barefoot Contessa and Supersize Grime, among other series, ahead of MIPCOM.

Deals were made for When Aliens Attack and Stalked seasons one and two, which were licensed by Discovery Channel. SBS studios secured seasons three, four and five of the Reef Television production, Dealers: Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, as well as the Sharp Entertainment production for Sundance Channel Love/Lust and Green Porno, an Isabella Rosselini, Jody Shapiro and Rick Gilbert production for Sundance Channel.
 
National Geographic took seasons one, two and three of Culture X by Third Floor Pictures and Supersize Grime by HCA Entertainment. ONE Channel, part of Network 10, secured the rights to the LMNO Cable Group production Meteorite Man seasons one, two and three, and Deconstruction, a Fine Living Creative Services production.
 
Other deals closed include Iconoclasts seasons one to five for Foxtel, Supersize Grime by HCA Entertainment for 7Mate and Outdoor Rooms by Scout Productions. Barefoot Contessa season one and two and Everyday Italian season one and two were sold to DVD/Time Life, part of Readers Digest.
