Passion Lands Eastern European Deals

LONDON: Passion Distribution has sold 80 new hours of programming, including Extreme Clutter and The Dead Files, through deals with broadcasters in Eastern European territories.

TLC, Discovery Networks’ lifestyle channel for women, will now air a host of titles from the Passion catalogue in countries such as Romania, Russia and CIS and Poland. TLC picked up programming from the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, including the hour-long I Am Jazz, the second season of In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman and seasons one and two of Extreme Clutter.

 
Scripps Networks International’s The Dead Files and both seasons of Atlas Media’s Frenemies: Loyalty Turned Lethal will be broadcast in Poland on Investigation Discovery.
 

Additionally, FTV Prima in the Czech Republic will begin airing Scripps’ Fat Chef and the first two seasons of Aces of Cakes, as well as Figure 8 Films specials such as Transgender Teens, Saving Life and Limb and Conjoined at the Head, to name a few.

Pro Plus Slovenia went for Scripps’ Cupcake Wars seasons one through four, Celebrity Motor Homes and Home Strange Home. The network also acquired Sundance Channel’s All On the Line with Joe Zee and Quirky.
