CANNES: Palatin Media has formed a joint venture with Copperheart Entertainment and Remstar Studios to develop and produce new TV series targeted at the North American and international markets.

Palatin will handle the international distribution rights for the output. The Munich-based company will be co-producing the shows on a non-exclusive basis with Copperheart and Remstar. The first production under the joint venture will be the one-hour supernatural drama Incarnate, which Palatin is promoting at MIPTV this week.

Palatin's CEO, Bernd Schlötterer, said, "What makes this joint venture exciting is the ability to put together productions with top North American and European talent, in collaboration with such dynamic producers as Clark and Steve—who have each separately produced Oscar-winning films."

Copperheart’s Steven Hoban added, “Being based in Los Angeles, Toronto and Munich gives us a collective connection to the markets in North America and Europe, as well unique access to financing and talent in all these regions."
