Ovation Adds BBC Music Program

LOS ANGELES: Ovation TV has scooped up the BBC music program Later…with Jools Holland, and will run the show exclusively for the next 27 new episodes.

Ovation TV will kick off the series with a Labor Day weekend marathon showcasing new and library episodes. The show will take a regular Thursday night, prime-time slot on September 10. The U.S. arts and culture network picks up the show in its 33rd run, which features guests such as Metallica, Kings of Leon, Carla Bruni, The Killers and Natalie Cole. Ovation TV will continue airing new episodes through the 34th and 35th seasons.
