Outright Inks First Deal on Strictest Parents Show

CANNES,
October 11: Outright Distribution has clinched its first agreement on the
six-part series World’s Strictest Parents, with SBS Netherlands set to air
the British production.

Produced
by Twenty Twenty, which, like Outright, is owned by Shed Media Group, World’s
Strictest Parents
aired on BBC Three in the U.K. earlier this summer. SBS has taken the
British version and advanced negotiations are under way for a local adaptation.
A format deal is already in place with a German channel.

In each episode, two British teens spend ten days living
with someone else’s strict parents.
