Outdoor Channel’s Programming SVP Resigns

TEMECULA, January 12: Wade
Sherman has resigned from his current position as the SVP of programming at The
Outdoor Channel to take on a position as director of
business development with the California Cougars of the Major Indoor
Soccer League.

Roger Werner, the current
CEO of The Outdoor Channel, will lead the network's efforts to further improve
the programming lineup until a successor is named.

"We thank Wade for
his commitment as he has played a key role in the development of programming
for The Outdoor Channel since 2000," said Werner. "While we are
saddened by this news, we also understand that he has a great passion for
professional sports. We wish him all the best in his new endeavor."

The Outdoor Channel is a
national television network dedicated to providing traditional outdoor
programming to anglers, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.
