Outdoor Channel Expands to Caribbean

TEMECULA, May 30: Outdoor
Channel, a U.S.-based network for outdoor enthusiasts, has inked a distribution
agreement with Caribbean Cable Cooperative to bring its programming to 40
member companies in 23 countries across the Caribbean.

Under
the new pact, Caribbean Cable Cooperative will offer Outdoor Channel SD, HD and
VOD to its member companies that represent 50 cable systems and more than
600,000 subscribers. Currently more than 80 percent of Outdoor Channel's
original programs are shot in high definition. The network is simulcasting in
HD, including shows like Trout Unlimited on the Rise, Adventures Abroad and Tarpon of Boca.

Outdoor
Channel offers programming that spans outdoor activities such as hunting,
fishing, shooting, off-road motorsports, adventure and the Western lifestyle.

"Outdoor
Channel will greatly enrich our offering as many residents and visitors to the
Caribbean truly enjoy the outdoor lifestyle with activities such as deep-sea
fishing and diving," said Howie Crotin, the advisor to the board of
directors of the Caribbean Cable Cooperative. "Additionally, its programs
filmed in the beautiful forests and mountains of North America will offer a
window of opportunity for our life-long residents of the Caribbean to travel to
a different world via the TV."

"This
opportunity for Outdoor Channel to be carried in so many different countries
reaffirms our position as the leader in outdoor programming," added Daniel
Soane, the VP of affiliate sales for central division and emerging media at
Outdoor Channel. "And, now our loyal viewers will be able to vacation in
the Caribbean without missing their favorite shows!"
