One Animation Adds to Consumer Products & Licensing Team

SINGAPORE: One Animation has appointed Bettina Koeckler to the newly created role of executive VP of global consumer products and licensing as it moves forward with its worldwide consumer product strategy.

The post was created in response to One Animation’s global success with properties such as the animated comedy Oddbods, and in her new position, Koeckler will be charged with executing the rollout in key markets worldwide in 2016 and beyond. She will also be tasked with creating new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Koeckler has more than 20 years of experience, having worked at Fox Consumer Products and Sony Pictures Consumer Products. She has created and led consumer-product campaigns for brands such as The Simpsons, Ice Age and Winx Club, among others.

Sashim Parmanand, the CEO of One Animation, commented, “Our consumer strategy to capitalize on the success of our shows is a core part of our business plan. To make this happen we’ve created this new role to oversee all of our marketing, licensing and product development teams, as well as strategic partnerships and overall management of retail, agent and agency relationships.
