LONDON/BURBANK: LIVING has picked up two new U.S. dramas in an exclusive deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD): Nikita and Chase.

Nikita, which stars Maggie Q, will air in living this fall, shortly after the series’ premiere on The CW. Chase, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television, will air starting in 2011. The show will be renamed for the U.K. market.

Amy Barham, Living TV Group’s head of acquisitions, said: "Nikita is the hottest, most action packed new drama of the season with an amazingly strong female lead that we know will excite and engage LIVING’s audiences this autumn. We’re thrilled to be able to bring it exclusively to the channel. Chase will follow in 2011, providing a new favorite show for all of our procedural fans."

Jeffrey Schlesinger, the president of WBITD, added: “Our series have enjoyed great success on LIVING. This is in no small part because the network truly invests in smart scheduling and creative marketing support around their programming. We believe the same will hold true for Nikita and Chase, two high-quality, compelling shows that fit perfectly into the programming mix of LIVING and its young audience.”
