Nielsen: U.S. TV Homes to Hit 163.7 Million by 2050

NEW YORK, February 8: The total number of TV households in
the U.S. is expected to grow 47 percent to 163.7 million by 2050, according to
Nielsen Media Research.

Further, the total number of TV households will grow 66
percent for African-Americans, 167 percent for Hispanics and 166 percent for
Asians. The number of people in the U.S. living in TV households will grow 40
percent to 396.3 million. The number of African-Americans in TV households will
increase 59 percent, Hispanics 136 percent and Asians 155 percent.
