CANNES: Nickelodeon is working with Studio 100 on a new version of the live-action series House of Anubis for a fall 2010 premiere on its channels in the U.S., U.K. and Australia.

The new global version of the series will also roll out to other territories beginning in 2011. The series originated for Nickelodeon in the Benelux and was subsequently made into a German version. It follows eight students trying to solve a hidden mystery at an English boarding school while dealing with the highs and lows of their teenage years. The new version is being produced in the U.K. by Lime Pictures.

“Since premiering on Nickelodeon in Benelux in 2006 and Germany in 2009, House of Anubis has been among our most successful series and we look forward to working with Studio 100 on bringing this incredibly unique and dynamic series to our audiences in the U.S. and around the world,” commented Jules Borkent, senior VP of global acquisitions and international programming for Nickelodeon.

“The cooperation with Nickelodeon US is a new and important step in Studio 100’s plans to expand into the international market,” added Hans Bourlon, the CEO of Studio 100.
